IT企業では、様々な職種がありますよね。忙しい業界でもありますから辞めてしまう方もいれば、新たに入社してくる方もいるでしょう。「うちでも、安心して仕事を任せるプロジェクトマネージャーを育てたい」と考えている方もいるのではないでしょうか。そんな方の中には、「どんな風に育成したら良いのか分からない」という方もいるでしょう。
プロジェクトマネージャーを育てるためには、様々なスキルを身に付けるように環境を整えていくことが必要となりますが、その中でも実践というのは欠かせない研修の一つと言えるでしょう。どんなに知識があっても、実践で役立てることが出来なければ意味がありませんからね。しかし、この実践の機会というのは、どういった仕事を任せるのか、どういったタイミングで任せるのかが重要。タイミングを間違えてしまうと、自信を無くしてしまう可能性もありますからね。最初から、大きな仕事を任せるのはモチベーションを高める効果はありますが、無謀な行為。大きな仕事を任せたいと考えるのであれば、最初はサブという立場で経験させることが重要となるでしょう。「プロジェクトマネージャーとして育てたい」という人材がいる場合には、まずどういったタイミングで実践のタイミングを与えるかを考えていくと良いでしょう。仕事の大きさ、タイミングは今後どのようにプロジェクトマネージャーとして育って行くかに関わってきますから、慎重な判断が必要ですよ。
「プロジェクトマネージャーを育てて、仕事を任せられる人材を作りたい」と考えている方は、まずはタイミングがポイントですよ。
